Nokia have tried to distance themselves from their older models with the new N8. The shape alone is enough to show you that. Instead of the classic slab look phone that 95% of phones have, they have gone for a more unique shape, and have made it available in many different colors. It is also the first Nokia phone to have the new Symbian^3 operating system and has a 12 megapixel camera.

The Nokia N8 is being entered into the market as a cheaper option to the more high end smartphones available, such as the HTC desire. This is evidenced by the fact the OLED touchscreen display has a resolution of 360 x 640, which is a slightly lower resolution than the many high end 800 pixel wide screens you will find on rival phones. The screen is 3.5″ in size, however, which is actually a good size for a smartphone.

You can use the Carl Zeiss optics on the 12 megapixel camera to capture 720p HD video, although usually the amount of megapixels a camera has isn’t as important as how good the sensor and the optics are, which works well for the N8 because the optics are great and the sensor is much larger than many digital cameras.

You can use the N8 to play music through the on board FM transmitter, so you can pick up music from it on your radio. The multimedia support is great the N8 is able to playback Mpeg4, H.264, Flash and Real video as well as more. You can also play music through the N8 in formats of MP3, WMA, AAC and AMR.

For on board memory the N8 has a great 16GB, which is more than adequate for the average user, however if you want to increase the size you can add a micoSD card of up to 32GB. This is ideal if you want to take advantage of the HD recording and make plenty of home movies, or perhaps you want to watch films when you are out on the go. The N8 is one of the few phones that supports 802.11n protocol. It also has WiFi and is 3.5G, supporting all major UMTS bands. You can get a maximum of 10.2 Mbps download speed and an upload speed of 2.0 Mbps on HSDPA.

Naturally, there is a lot more to the N8 than the hardware; the Symbian^3 OS is introduced with this particular model, and it features multi touch support, pinch to zoom, 3D graphics acceleration, home screens, and kinetic scrolling to make this phone more intuitive than anything you have experienced before.

Motorola Milestone XT720 makes its debut in the market following the lackluster performance of the Milestone handset in the UK when compared to the passionate reception in the US for its twin product, the Droid. The unit currently entering the market is essentially Milestone 2 and the company has learned from the dissatisfaction voiced about the original device and addressed all of those issues. The Motorola XT720 has eliminated the keyboard, upgraded the Motoblur functionality, upgraded to an 8-megapixel camera and enhanced the device with a 720MHz processor.

The redesign of the device has given it a more masculine appearance likely to appealing to men more than women as it calls to mind a digital camera more than a conventional phone handset. The standard menu, search, home and back buttons are below the display in the usual position found in the majority of Android handsets. The 8-megapixel camera, which is actually a suitable substitute for an economical digital camera, is a cut above the camera found in most phones.

The Motorola XT720 is 60.9 x 115.95 x 10.9mm and weighs in at 160 grams. It utilizes the proven-solid Android 2 operating system. While it does not have the muscle of the more powerful processor found in both the HTC Desire and the Google Nexus, Motorola has done its best to minimize lag times and load times by optimizing the handset. It also boasts a 480 X 854 resolution 3.7-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen. The Motorola Milestone XT720 also has 512MB of built in memory with the option to use a 8GB microSD card.

While quoted as providing a maximum 13 day standby time and up to 4.5 hours of talk time from the 1390 mAh battery, this is an operating system needing frequent recharging as experienced Android users have found. The phone can be conveniently charged while you are at your desk through use of the available optional Multimedia Station. The standard multimedia formats supported are MP3, AMR, MPEG4, AAC, WMA and ACC files. The Milestone XT720 also sports an FM radio and a 3.5mm audio socket.

So, is the Motorola Milestone XT720 right for you? Only you can weigh the importance of the pros and cons. If you are on a restricted budget for your purchase, this is a great value for the price since it makes few compromises and is available at a significantly lower price for a handset. On the other hand, if money is available for the HTC Desire or the Google Nexus One, they are the better choice.

Sony Ericsson was never a big leader in the phone industry until they came out with their Android series of phones. They managed to turn their fate around when they tapped into this technology and have since released an amazing array of phones which please users on all levels. The Xperia X8 is no different and has specifications and features you would expect from the makers of Android marvels, Sony Ericsson. It is bigger than its X10 Mini counterparts and smaller than the X10, so it is the perfect fit for anyone who could not decide between their last two releases.

One of the challenges Sony Ericsson tried to meet was making a phone that was neither too big or too small. The X10 was a little large for some folks, while the X10 mini models were way too small. The Xperia X8 features a nice 3 inch touchscreen with a display featuring up to 16 million colors. And those colors will pop thanks to the 320×480 pixel resolution. It is not a heavyweight, weighing in at just over 100 grams. And Sony Ericsson did not stop there! They integrated their Timeline UI to work symbiotically with their Android 1.6 operating system so you can access all of your emails, social networking sites and agendas with a tap of your finger.

There are several applications already installed on your Xperia X8 when you get it so that means your phone will be ready to go, right out of the box. These applications include YouTube, Google Maps, Facebook, Google Talk and Gmail. Android apps are being created all the time, so you will have tons of options when you want to download more! The Xperia X8 also features an expandable memory slot up to 16 gigabytes, so you can do a lot with this phone. It also features an internal 600 megahertz processor so it should not have any issues handling anything that you have to dish out to it.

The Xperia X8 will keep you connected with a wide variety of connection options to keep you plugged in no matter where you are. There is a GSM device which can work on either a dual band or a quad band. If features WiFi connectability and is also Bluetooth enabled. This phone is definitely meant to be used everywhere.

The camera on the Xperia X8 is not as magnificent as some that we have seen recently, but it is not bad. It features 3.2 megapixels, video taking and making capabilities, an FM stereo module, and it can be used as an MP3 player. It also features a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack so you can easily listen to all your favorite songs or games with ease. This makes the Xperia X8 another winner from Android pioneer, Sony Ericsson!

Blackberry has long been a staple in the smartphone market. With its newest release the Blackberry Bold they have taken the best traits of its previous phones, added 3G capabilities amongst other things, and packaged it together nicely. While it is not the smallest or lightest phone on the market, weighing in at 136 grams and slightly larger than its predecessor (the Blackberry 8820), it makes up for it in design. The Bold comes with a glossy black and silver finish and adds a curved element to the phone’s body – an elegant touch that stands it apart from other smartphones.

The Blackberry Bold’s slightly larger also allows it to fit in a full QWERTY keypad and trackball, which results in one of the best and most effortless hand held devices for emailing and general text input. The display is one of the best on the market. It delivers an amazing 65,000 color transmissive TFT LCD screen that pumps out an enhanced resolution of 360 x 480 pixels (compared to its predecessor’s 240 x 320 pixel screen).

RIM threw in a few fun features as well. While the 2 megapixel camera would not be a replacement for a stand-alone digital camera, it is perfect to take still images and video clips on the go. The Bold also boasts a media player that is perfect for listening to a few tunes or watching a video between meetings. If you need to rip your CD’s to the computer, Blackberry provides a handy program that will do just that, in addition to syncing the phone to your PC. Although most mobile phones still lack a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, it has become a standard in Blackberry’s long line of phones – which means any standard headphone will deliver audio from the device.

The battery is not the Bold’s strong point, having a slightly shorter life than the 8820 – a combined result of its 3G capability and larger screen size. However, Blackberry did give heavy consideration to the memory capacity of the Bold. Not only does it come with 1 GB of integrated internal memory and 128 MB of flash memory, Blackberry provides the ability to add external memory via a microSD memory card. Users would be hard-pressed to need more memory than the Bold delivers, as Blackberry designed the powerful device towards its data-driven users.

So, if you are in need of a fully functional smartphone / PDA that fully meets your communication needs, the Blackberry Bold is highly recommended. RIM delivered on overcoming all of its previous shortfalls to come up with a competitive mobile device that packs a high resolution screen, 3G capabilities, faster processing speeds, and ample memory.

But, searching for these numbers can get on your nerves after a while. If you have trouble, take a breather then, start over again.

As a matter of fact, several of these look up services do require some expense, on your part, to receive the privilege to use their website. You have no need from these places. They do have information for private investigators which is not necessary when you simply want to see who has a certain phone number.

Several websites do not require you to give a service price. The best thing you can do is get on the Internet and use the website you use to search and type in something like “Phone number look up” or anything similar. Websites will pop up allowing you to see which ones you can try.

As with so many situations in life, you will find good and bad. This is just the way it is, and nothing is perfect. Some of these sites have knowledge you can use but, others will be of no use, at all. You may be able to get information from some of these sites which might aid you in your project.

If you think maybe batteries are out of date then reconsider, as the complete reverse is in fact true. Batteries have now been around for more than two centuries. They were in fact developed around the year 1800 by a person called Alessandro Volta.

The marketplace is expanding continuously yearly and was thought to be worth an astonishing $50 billion this past year, plus they are utilized in devices are wide ranging as hearing aids and space stations.

Whilst they are developing in complexity all the time, the fundamental premise remains exactly the same, they convert stored chemical energy in electrical power. From a technical perspective a battery contains 2 or more cells hooked up in sequence or parallel, although it’s usually employed for a single cell.

The term itself is thought to be because of Benjamin Franklin, who is assumed to have said that charged glass plates together reminded him of a battery of guns.

In 1836 John F. Daniel developed what was referred to as the Daniel Cell. This took it’s origin from 2 electrolytes – they were copper sulfate and zinc sulfate. These batteries then replaced the Volta batteries simply because they were more harmless and far less corrosive.

Three years later on Robert Grove created the first ever fuel cell. The fuel cell created electricity by the mixture of oxygen and hydrogen.

From 1839 to 1842 several different inventors produced batteries that utilized electrical electrodes to create electricity.

With the present day problems of climate change the most crucial developments started in 1954 when Gerald Pearson, Daryl Chapin and Calvin Fuller developed the initial solar power electric battery.

Even though modern solar powered energy continues to be not efficient enough to produce more than a small level of the worlds electricity, the engineering is progressing rapidly all the time and offers real possibilities for the future, as possibly the most innovative of all of the alternative energy sources.
